Digital Media Users by Region

As Convergent projects are commissioned by CRTC regulated broadcasters, it is not surprising that Canadian users dominate with 60% of the visits to convergent projects, while the rest were split between the USA (13%) and Rest of the World (27%).

Experimental stream projects, on the other hand, had a significant global reach as 52% of visits originated from the rest of world and 35% originated the United States. Canada, while up 4% from the previous year, had the lowest percentage of total visitors at 13%. It is with noting that Canadian users interacted with the content longer, approximately five and a half minutes versus just under three minutes from non-Canadian users.
